For almost 40 years, WordPro Communication Services has specialized in editing, proofreading, writing, and training writers. Lin Johnson, the owner, started editing and writing before officially establishing the company, and she brings decades of experience to your project.

Lin started in the publishing industry as assistant editor of Sunday school curriculum for Regular Baptist Press. A few years after leaving that job, she took the Write-to-Publish course at Moody Bible Institute, which launched her successful freelance writing career. Her résumé includes experience editing books, magazines, and a variety of specialty manuscripts. She works directly with writers, for traditional and independent publishing houses, and for other organizations.

The author of more than 70 books, Lin is a Gold Medallion Book Award and an Evangelical Press Association Higher Goals Award recipient, both top awards in Christian publishing.

One of her favorite jobs is training writers. She owned and directed the Write-to-Publish Conference for almost 30 years and has taught at most Christian writers conferences in the US and several in other countries. 

Lin has a B.A. in Christian education from Cedarville University, a B.A. in Bible-theology from Moody Bible Institute, and an M.S. in adult and continuing education from National-Louis University. She is a former special instructor of Christian education at Moody Bible Institute and professional writing at Taylor University.
